You’ve heard the cliche “money doesn’t buy happiness” so many times it has lost its meaning, but it continues to be repeated because it’s true. The true source of deep joy comes from finding peace from within.

I’ve spent the last 12 years studying and gleaning wisdom from the fields of positive psychology, talk therapy, social work, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, self-help, and just about every religion. And from all those fields I have found 6 essential habits that set a person up to experience a deep sense of joy.

How this guide is meant to be used:
There are a few ways to work through this course. I’ve had many people work through one habit per week. Others prefer to read through the whole guide and start with the habit that resonates most with them. Or you could simply start with the habit that sounds easiest. While you certainly can try to start enacting all 6 habits at once, I recommend starting with one or two and doing them consistently until they stick.
I know these habits work because these are the 6 habits I personally practice in order to experience, deep, abiding joy and fulfillment. When life gets busy and I stop working on these habits, I notice I become irritable, stressed, and unsatisfied. I get in a funk where I don’t realize or appreciate the beauty in life and the many blessings I take for granted daily.
The more you do these habits, the more you will feel at tune with yourself, with nature, and with the universe in general.
Moments of awe will come at you daily. You will notice tiny details, little miracles that happen right in front of you, if you’re awake and aware enough to notice.
